How To Use It?

Apply a generous amount of cream evenly across all exposed areas. Reducing this quantity will lower the level of protection significantly. Apply evenly on your body 15 minutes before sun and water exposure. Reapply regularly to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or towelling. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while screen product. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Over-exposure to the sun is a using a sunscre serious health threat.

Did You Know

It’s important to use the right amount of sunscreen; ideally, you should apply roughly six teaspoons – fill up a 30ml shot glass as a guide if you’re unsure – to your face and entire body before you have your fun in the sun.

When should I apply sunscreen?

Apply your sunscreen to dry skin around 15 minutes before going outside. If you’re planning on staying in the sun for longer periods of time, you’ll need to reapply your sunscreen at least every two hours, or every 80 minutes if you’re in the water.

Is it important to always reapply sunscreen?

The first application of the day is the most important and it’s crucial to take the time to do it properly. Many things can affect the need to reapply sunscreen. Excessive perspiring, towelling off and swimming all hamper the ability for sunscreen to remain on the skin and make reapplication important. Reapply sunscreen after 80 minutes of swimming or perspiring, immediately after towel drying and at least every two hours.

Anyone over the age of 6 months can use Sunright lotion. Parents should consult a doctor for children under 6 months old before using standard sunscreens on infants.

Do SunrightⓇ products provide UVA and UVB protection?

Yes, SunrightⓇ products provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. While UV-B radiation is the cause of “sun-burn”, UV-A radiation causes premature skin ageing.

What does SPF stand for?

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor and is an indication of the amount of protection a product provides against UVB light. An SPF indicates the ability of a sun protection product to filter out UVB rays. The number indicates how much longer you can be exposed to the sun while wearing sunscreen before you begin to bum as opposed to how long it would take you to burn without sunscreen. The time it takes for someone’s skin to burn varies greatly from person to person; therefore, it’s important to remember that sunscreen is not a one-size-fits-all science.

Are Sunright® 35 waterproof?

Sunright® 35 are water-resistant and allow up to 80 minutes of uninterrupted water play. Wait no longer than this before reapplying.
