CordyMax contains a standardized mycelia fermentation product of Cordyceps sinensis mushroom.
Cordyceps is a fungus that lives on certain caterpillars in the high mountain regions of the Tibetan plateau. Also known as Dongchóngxiacão (winter worm, summer grass) in Chinese. Natural cordyceps is hard to find and can be expensive. In fact, it was once available only for Emperors and has even earned the nickname ‘soft gold among locals!
Our CordyMax formula is recognized in China as a fermented cordyceps mushroom product. CordyMax is manufactured according to the Pharmanex® 65 Quality Process and is standardized by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) – an instrument used to determine the chemical makeup of any sample – to guarantee a consistent composition for every batch we produce. This means a guaranteed level of mannitol (the so-called ‘ChongCao Acid) of at least 6% obtained solely from the Cordyceps sinensis mushroom in our extract.
